Petro Welt Technologies Kazakhstan, founded in 2005, provides services facilitating oil and natural gas production.
Before using LanCloud cloud services, the company used Microsoft Exchange corporate email. It became necessary to create its own IT infrastructure and migrate email to servers located in Kazakhstan. After consulting with colleagues in the IT department at Petro Welt, we decided to go with cloud services and, after analyzing all available companies in Kazakhstan, chose LanCloud.
This choice was based on the fact that the company didn't want to change anything in its corporate email system, and it was important that employees wouldn't notice any changes to the interface. After reviewing all the cloud email services, we immediately chose Microsoft Exchange. We were interested in the pricing, features, and capabilities of the LanCloud plan. The Cloud Exchange Standard plan was an excellent option for our company; it provides the required security, three layers of antivirus protection, 12 antispam filters, and other useful features. The plan also offered a 100GB mailbox, as other companies had smaller mailboxes before LanCloud. This was undesirable for many, as they often had to archive.
After successfully migrating user emails, some minor issues arose, but thanks to the prompt work of technical support, everything is now functioning perfectly.
